Very good book for what I needed. As a new controller I’ve read and re read it taking bits of info each time. Lays out what to do during your first few weeks on the job and what the responsibilities are and how to do them going forward. Good ideas for reporting, cash flow forecast, collections, internal controls, the close.
If you plan on moving upwards in your accounting career from senior accountant or accounting manager to a controller position then this is the book for you, I love the section of what you should do first in your new position, this is a must read!
Good overview information
So far the material is relavant and current. My dislike is the physical book. The whole binding is separated from the pages upon delivery.
